Two kids in Kindergarten destined to meet years later, fall in love and return to lake michigan for a gorgeous wedding weekend with their closest family and friends. Annie + Zander said "i do" overlooking the big lake on the most gorgeous summer day in late July. When they invited our team to be a part of the entire process, Annie shared she wasnt scared of color and wanted to capture the brightest part of the sunset and show of the gorgeous pinks, oranges, yellows and hints of red in their color scheme.
Bringing Stephani on for floral is always a must and her design was complimented by colored and textured candles, fruit and a beautiful organic undertone of white with oatmeal textured linens. For the paper goods we kept the bright tones and had a "wave" element throughout starting with the details card which was the same shape as their menu cards. We had a custom backdrop made for their photo station and to showcase their neon yellow sign. You see the layering texture and colors on this as well.
We transitioned through the bright sunset colors used on the fringe for the programs and in the signage. The couple said their vows with lake michigan as their backdrop and they were framed by two floral arches which were later moved to the fireplace behind at their head table. We had a lot of fun picking the brightly colored linens and making this design as a whole. It was full of life which perfectly matched the energy this crowd brought!
