Paige and Luke couldnt have had a warmer July day where the sun just seemed overjoyed for their happiness and love! Married in a private residence in East Grand Rapids with a reception at the new High Five GR. Paige really wanted a clean black and white wedding with rich greenery throughout. It worked beautifully for both spaces and I couldnt be happier with how the design came together. We also assisted with paper products and got to try some fun things like white ink on black envelopes!!
As if this couple was stunning enough, they are also unbelievably talented and down to earth. Luke plays hockey for the Detroit Red Wings and good thing I dont get star struck easily! Paige is good at everything and I have known her since college, plus she is just stunning. I think the real star of the show though is their great dane Lucy. Other elements of design included rented black matte plates from Gigi and LaClede hanging greenery and amazing floral from Lisa at Linnea Floral. Our signature paper goods carried the look throughout and I even brought in some of the brides calligraphy to table numbers and special wording.
This summer has been filled with phenomenal events and we couldn't be more proud of the work we are putting out and the beautiful couples we are helping down the aisle.
