A garden wedding. With a palette of rich green and peach Diana and Riley gave us the challenge of taking this summer wedding in the elegant Cascade Hills Country club and historic St. Alphonsus and making it soft, romantic and lush. Floral was literally overflowing each direction that you looked and we brought in soft textures to really elevate the space. Taking the garden element to the next level, we included pressed floral in little hints throughout the design .
The dark green helped in keeping the evening black tie while the peach tones were playful and light. We brought in several installations into the reception space with added lights and greenery. Even adding greenery to the chandeliers brought the eye up and made the rather masculine space, a little less so. All paper products were designed by the All Buttoned Up Team and will forever be some of our favorites. Pressed gold into greens, yes please! The couple was greeted as newlyweds with a rose petal send off into a horse drawn carriage. Welcoming guests into the reception, where we draped each doorway with fabric and greenery, was a candle-lite reception. Entertainment was key and the Endless Summer Band brought the party. A Italian Singer was brought in just for the first dances and was a special nod to the bride's father and family.
A simple pocket folded napkin with a wax seal embellishment on the menu card placed atop a gold rimmed glass charger completed the place setting and each guest received a floral pressed bookmark with a message of a donation made in their honor to MSU library. The glass element was carried into the seating chart which was custom drawn by a local calligrapher and backed in dark green. A final surprise was a cigar roller on the back patio for all guests to enjoy. After a night of dancing with the band under a special dance floor "abror" the couple went sent off with sparklers and a night to remember
