Keeping a consistent event design has been the key to All Buttoned Up's latest success. I was put in contact with Katie and Josh through their florist, Kaci of Damsel Floral, for All Buttoned Up's most recent adventure that came together early March. I took on the planning and Day of Coordination for these two throughout the final months prior to their wedding. They were planning from out of state and needed help securing vendors and design elements leading up to the big day! Of course, I was happy to help.
As always, Amy Carroll Photography pulled out all the stops and captured some of the most stunning moments of the event! An essential part of their beautiful day was, again, keeping the design consistent. The reception was in the Greenhouse of the Downtown Market in Grand Rapids, MI. Thus, it was important to embrace the garden feel throughout the venue, using the bouquets and centerpieces. This included soft pinks and pale, cream accents within the floral design. I personally feel as though the table numbers especially nailed what we were going for! I am so pleased with the variety of little personal touches that made everything come together beautifully! From the printed napkin rings to the little "Bride" and "Groom" paper designs, a lot of love and detail was put into the table decor. It was important to demonstrate the eclectic personalities of the bride and groom, within an otherwise peaceful, earthy theme. Let's not forget Baked by Amy's gorgeous cake that we couldn't take our eyes off of! Part of wedding planning is maintaining a consistent design, while celebrating the uniqueness of every couple. I hope this event was an unforgettable one for Katie, Josh, and all of their fabulous guests!
