What a joy it was to work with this amazing couple and to bring their unique vision to life. They were referred to us from another wedding we had done and the trust they placed in our hands was what we immediately appreciated. They had a venue with a gorgeous ceremony spot (with approval for the 1st hole!) but the inside was a little missing some life. Our goal became to deliver a unique take on a fall palette and deliver something that was fresh, refined and unpredictable.
We got a gorgeous fall day and the events of the weekend started in downtown Birmingham with all guests checking into the amazing Daxton Hotel and arriving for a welcome party at the Birmingham Pub. The next day pictures also began at the Daxton and then the ceremony and reception at the Birmingham Country Club.
For their design we played with lots of velvet textures, a rich color palette and cut glass elements. Paper goods were of the upmost quality and the couple invested in upgrades in their chairs, wine glasses, a custom monogram dance floor and amazing linens. What really brought it all to life was the Floral by Kate at New Creations and it was all captured by Shanell at Shanell Photography. We will be swooning about this design for years to come.
