Maria is more than a past intern — she’s forever family to the All Buttoned Up team.
So when she reached out to us to help her find the perfect venue and bring her wedding vision to life, our answer was a resounding “Yes, absolutely!” Her style was refreshingly unique, with inspiration words like artful, fun and funky, modern, refined, colorful, and textured. With just eight months to make it all happen, we got straight to work.
We curated an incredible team of vendors, and one of the most pivotal was Hayley from Hyssop Floral. Her intentional, sculptural approach to florals was exactly what we needed to bring vibrant color and dimension to the design while complementing a grounded, organic aesthetic.
For the ceremony, we used moss velvet ribbon and flowing fabric signage to create soft movement. Six floral compositions were artfully arranged on pedestals, framing the couple and their bridal party in a striking visual moment. These floral pieces were later repurposed inside to anchor the statement seating chart, and finally repositioned once more as a photo backdrop — a perfect example of thoughtful, high-impact floral use.
Maria’s proud Bulgarian heritage was beautifully woven throughout the celebration. From the traditional honey bread and spice — representing the sweet and spicy elements of marriage — to meaningful customs, every detail was infused with culture and heart. (We all noticed Maria ended up with the larger bread piece, so she’s clearly in charge 😉.)
Inside the reception space, our use of fabric signage continued, echoing the funky patterns of the custom programs, menus, and paper goods. The layered head table stole the show: a lush garden of blooms, candles, broken stone accents, fresh fruit, and a rich, moody palette came together in a masterpiece of texture and tone.
We couldn’t be prouder of how this wedding came together. It was a joyful, artful celebration of love — for a truly incredible couple inside and out.
