Another breathtaking wedding, right at the start of summer! This wedding is extra special because our team did Sadie's older sister's wedding several years ago and are still friends with Kaitlin and simply love this family. Like many other 2021 couples, the plan was originally different for their wedding but when Sadie and Evan decided to move their wedding to her parents (which had been built by her Grandparents), it felt just right. Sadie's design centered around a boho ascetic, jewel-tones, and lots of texture. This warm and inviting style was just perfect in this home's yard, which sits right on the river. It was a hot summer day and with an intimate group of 70, we worked hard to keep everyone hydrated, fed and having a good time!
Bright and textured floral from the amazing Linnea Floral helped bring the full design to life and was highlighted by all the wonderful furniture from Fringe Events. The rich farmhouse tables, vintage soft seating and oriental rugs for the ceremony accented all the other design elements. For the layout, the whole grounds were used and hosted intimate seating spaces and a variety of different traditional and small seating to suite everyone's comfort levels. For the table scapes, custom macrame runners and hand-poured beeswax taper candles accented the bud vases.
The bride made her own signage (like literally cut and sanded) with her hands lettering every word. This was the perfect welcome into the wedding and with such a small group we were able to plan and execute some special touches like a group photo of all their guests. The Everyday Chef provided the most elaborate, stunning and tasty grazing table and the food truck out front served the most wonderful food. As the sun set, it was the most romantic evening and ended with a sparkler send off for our newlyweds.
