Since small weddings are the new trend (which we are LOVING), we have put together a list of small wedding venues all throughout Michigan to host an intimate ceremony or reception.

These photos are from a gorgeous small wedding we did early this summer for Jessika and Bennett at The Glass House, and we are here for it! Give us all of the intimate weddings with your most important people!

The Glass House is just that, a small glass house or greenhouse in Zeeland meant for the gathering of creatives. With scheduled events throughout the year for the public to attend and purchase tickets, they also host social events in their intimate space that can hold up to 50 people.

The Rooftop at the Ballroom at McKay is a great downtown Grand Rapids option for a small wedding ceremony with outdoor space. The rooftop can host up to 50 people, and has an amazing view of the city at 16 floors up.

Downtown Market Grand Rapids is offering skyline ceremonies for up to 50 people on their outdoor terrace and allows access to the greenhouse for photos. With a beer and wine reception with charcuterie from Aperitivo, this is the perfect space for an intimate gathering outdoors.

Another great option for small events is at a private residence with a tent in someones backyard, and we love using Taylor Rental and Alpine Events for all of our tent rentals! Being able to create your own venue space at a private residence makes for a truly unique event that shows off your own style.
