Katie and Jon were so amazing during the planning process in the middle of a pandemic. When changes were being made to their original wedding plans, they never lost sight of why they were doing this. They wanted to get married, and at the end of the day, it was the two of them with their closest loved ones at this stunning Grand Rapids rooftop wedding. Though they still plan to host a larger reception next year with their original guest count, they had a gorgeous and intimate rooftop ceremony and reception in Grand Rapids. Their ceremony was held at the Ballroom at McKay rooftop while the reception was over at The B.O.B. on their rooftop. The two spaces worked wondrously for their small group.

Two large floral pieces flanked the ceremony space, and the gorgeous view of downtown served as the perfect backdrop.

Katie’s bridal details were absolutely stunning. The colorful bouquet paired so well with the neutral floral pieces that were used at the ceremony.

The lime green chairs at the reception inspired our design for this space. Limes were incorporated into the centerpieces, and bright green floral and greenery were used alongside some white blooms.

We loved these bright and fun place settings with a pocket folded napkin and a menu card tucked in, and the place cards were attached to the base of a champagne flute!

These fun textured linens were flapping so beautifully in the wind, and the pink brought a nice warmth to the space.
