We have created this post as a resource for anyone in search of a Grand Rapids Wedding Venues, and these are some of our favorite!

The Downtown Market Grand Rapids is a great venue in a central area that offers a unique style. With two separate event spaces, the greenhouse offers an airy and warm garden feel to your event, while the banquet room is modern and clean with a blank slate to make your own. With a lower capacity at 80-150 people in the greenhouse, it is a great space to have your ceremony or cocktail hour. Then guests can move to the banquet room for the reception which can host 180 people seated. The two separate spaces allow for guests to immediately transition to the reception without and flip time or travel time. Due to the event space being within the Market, there are multiple onsite catering options to choose from for your event. The Downtown Market is one of our favorite venues too because of the staff that we have the pleasure of working with there. All of the event coordinators are so helpful and involved, which makes for a smooth and fun event! 

The High Five is a versatile venue located in downtown Grand Rapids. With its exposed brick and hardwood floors, the High Five offers a vintage vibe that you and your guests will love. This newly renovated venue is perfect for large or small weddings with a capacity of up to 300 people. With two separate floors, the fourth floor is the perfect space to host your cocktail hour or hold your ceremony, while the fifth floor’s open floor plan is great for celebrating your special day. We love working with the staff at The High FIve as well!

The Ballroom at McKay is another excellent venue that can accommodate large or small gatherings with seating options for up to 200 guests. With vaulted ceilings, breathtaking chandeliers, and marble architecture, this venue is sure to make your special day feel elegant! This venue is perfect for expressing your individual style by personalizing your floor plan and event space. The Ballroom at McKay has six catering options as well as an extensive selection of beverages from their in-house beverage service. 

This remodeled mansion is the perfect space to hold an intimate event. Venue3Two’s spacious layout options allow you to host the wedding of your dreams! Enjoy your reception or cocktail hour in their Patio & Courtyard area, or host your shower in their Great Room & Bar Area. 

New Vintage Place is another unforgettable venue that has unique character and free parking! With its towering windows and exposed brick, this venue can accommodate up to 300 people for your event. Their column free reception hall is the perfect spot to celebrate with your family and friends. 

The Cheney Place is another iconic venue that offers an urban space to hold your ceremony or your reception. This venue can accommodate up to 225 people for your ceremony and up to 300 people for your reception. With two separate floors this space offers an easy transition from your cocktail hour on the second floor to dinner and dancing on the first floor. 

If you decide to have your wedding at the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel you will be able to customize every detail. Whether you decide to have a  breathtaking reception or host an intimate rehearsal dinner here, the Amway is sure to make your special day perfect. This venue also offers a variety of culinary selections guaranteed to wow your guest’s taste buds!  

Located in the heart of Grand Rapids is The Rutledge, a historic building that is perfect for your special celebration. For your ceremony, walk down their original hardwood floors under an open beam ceiling, while enjoying the sunlight twinkling through their violet paned windows. Dance and dine the night away during your reception while taking in their exposed brick walls and Edison bulb chandeliers. The Rutledge will collaborate with you in order to make your vision come to life and make sure this day is perfect. 

The Grand Rapids Art Museum is another unforgettable venue located in the heart of Grand Rapids and within walking distance of local hotels and shops. The unique architecture of The GRAM will provide you with one of a kind ceremony and reception and will leave your guests wowed.
